Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center

The Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center is located at 300 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90802. We recommend all attendees enter through the Main Entrance on Pine Avenue.

Registration

Registration will open at 7:30 am PT on Wednesday, May 13th. It will be located in the Promenade Lobby, on the ground floor of the Convention Center.

When arriving, please enter through the Main Entrance on Pine Avenue. Please note that you must check in and have your badge printed to enter the Expo Hall.

Please also note that the registration desk will NOT be open during the post-conference Sprint days (Monday, May 18th-Tuesday, May 19). If you are planning to attend any of the Sprint days, you MUST check-in before Sprints start at the conference registration desk, which closes at 1 PM PT on Sunday, May 16th.

Please have your photo ID ready when standing in the queue.

Information Desk

If you have any questions on-site, such as directions, lost and found, or scheduling, head to the Information Desk in the Promenade Lobby, by the Main Entrance, where volunteers can help answer them.

Swag Pickup

Any PyCon US conference T-shirts, PyLadies and Charlas t-shirts ordered during the registration process will be available for pickup at the Swag Pickup counter in the Expo Hall located in Expo Hall AB. Below is the pick up schedule with days and times.

Hours:

  • Friday, May 15th: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm PT (Pre-order pickup)
  • Saturday, May 16th: 9:00 am – 1:30 pm PT (Pre-order pickup)
  • Sunday, May 17th: 10:00 am - 11:00 am PT (Pre-order pickup)
  • Extra T-shirts will be available in exchange for a donation on Sunday, May 17th from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm PT

Special Meal Pickup

If you provided special dietary requests when filling out your attendee profile, such as Kosher, food allergies, etc., please find a Savor catering staff member at each meal function who will assist you in picking up your special meal or help you identify options that are free of allergens.

Attendee Quiet Room

The Attendee Quiet Room is a safe place for anyone who needs a break or a quiet place for whatever reason. The Attendee Quiet room is located on the second floor of the Promenade area, in Room VIP A&B.

The Quiet Room is open:

  • Thursday, May 14th: 9:00 AM PT - 5:00 PM PT
  • Friday, May 15th - Sunday, May 17th: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM PT

Wellness Room/Nursing Suite

There is a Wellness Room/Nursing Suite available in the Promenade Lobby, across from the Registration Desk, from Wednesday, May 13th-Sunday May 17th.

No Luggage Check

There is no Luggage Check available at the Convention Center this year. You can ask your hotel or your lodging accommodation if they provide luggage check.
